If you plan on traveling domestically or internationally, you can set up a travel notice within Card Management that will inform Unitus of your plans. Unitus will not block or decline any transactions that originate from your travel destination during the travel dates, for the card that the notice is set up on.
- You can add multiple destinations to your travel notice.
- You can edit your travel destinations and dates, as needed.
- Travel notices can be applied to one or multiple cards.

Yes! You can use the Balance Transfer feature within Card Management to transfer a balance from another credit card to your Unitus credit card. It’s a great way to consolidate debt or take advantage of a lower interest rate.

Select ‘Alerts and Controls’, then click or tap on the contact method under the ‘Update Registration’ section. The Alert Delivery Method modal will open and allow you to enable/disable contact methods as desired.

Yes! Select ‘Finish Setup’ for the card that needs to be activated (Card Status – Not set up). Click on ‘Card Activation’ and select ‘Use Digital Card Display’ to reveal the CVV number. Re-select ‘Finish Setup’ and ‘Card Activation’, enter the CVV Number, then click on ‘Activate Card’. From there you can set up your 4 digit PIN by selecting ‘PIN Setup’.
- Setting up a PIN is not needed for Credit Cards but is strongly suggested for all other card types.

- This setting will temporarily prevent transactions from going through. You can enable or disable this setting as needed. Unitus cannot guarantee all transactions will decline when this setting is enabled.
- It will only decline transactions for merchants that use Visa’s processing system. For transactions with merchants that are on other processing systems, those transactions will go through.

In the mobile app, tap the ‘More’ tab, then select ‘Settings’ and the ‘Push Notifications’ option. Ensure the toggle is enabled to allow Push Notifications. Once the toggle is enabled, push notifications will appear as a contact method in Card Management.

- Alerts notify you of transactions that match certain criteria set by the member (i.e. transaction limit, merchant type, transaction type). These alerts are available via Email, SMS, and Push notification.

Navigate to Settings > Contact tab. To verify the phone number, select the phone number and ensure the ‘I Would Like To Receive SMS Text Messaged To This Number’ checkbox is selected. Complete the Multifactor Authentication, if prompted, then click ‘Send a code via text’ to verify the phone number. Enter the verification code and click ‘Save Changes’. Now your phone number will show up as an SMS contact method within Card Management.
