Unitus Scholarship Program

Unitus is pleased to offer $3,000 scholarships to assist outstanding student members and child dependents of Unitus employees with the cost of higher education. *

2025 Unitus Scholarships are Now Closed

Applicants will be notified of their status in May. Applications will open again in January 2026. Thank you for your interest in Unitus Scholarships!

Eligibility

Applicants must be one of the following:

A member (primary or joint) of Unitus Community Credit Union whose account is in good standing and has been in service for at least 6 months at the time of application.

OR

A dependent biological, step, or adoptive child; or biological, step, or adoptive grandchild; of a current Unitus Community Credit Union employee.

AND

A current high school senior or undergraduate who plans to enroll or is enrolled in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.

Awards

Up to nine (9) scholarships will be awarded. Each scholarship is a one-time gift of $3,000 for educational purposes

  • Six (6) General Scholarships
  • Two (2) Unitus Employee Scholarships
  • One (1) “Barbara Leonard Memorial Scholarship Award”. This scholarship will be awarded to a BIPOC student who has demonstrated academic potential, high achievement, and leadership.
