Message to Our Members – December 2025

(2 Minute Read) — This time of year always reminds me how important strong community connections are, and I am grateful for the chance to share an update with you as we move into the winter season. We are joyfully celebrating the opening of our newest location, the Unitus Financial Resource Center at Woodburn. This facility represents our continued commitment to serving more members where they are, with greater access, more languages spoken on site, and expanded opportunities to build financial wellbeing. We look forward to welcoming you in!

As we look back on the fall, I am reminded of why our work matters. Many households across Oregon and the country faced uncertainty during the prolonged federal government shutdown earlier this season. While only a small portion of our membership was directly affected, moments like these underscore the importance of people-centered financial services and the support systems that credit unions provide. I am very proud of how our team stepped in to help members navigate temporary disruptions in pay and benefits. Your trust in Unitus guides our work every day. 

Throughout 2025, Unitus has been actively involved in events and partnerships across the region, from supporting families at resource fairs to directing funds to fight food insecurity. These experiences remind us that financial health and community health go hand in hand. We are grateful for every member who engages with us, volunteers alongside us, or connects with our teams at local events. 

As we enter the final weeks of the year, I want to extend my sincere appreciation to you for being part of the Unitus community. Thank you for trusting us with your financial goals, your milestones, and your everyday moments. We look forward to continuing to serve you in the new year.
