2018 has kicked off to a bright start with some memorable moments, including our Multnomah Village branch grand opening, our annual meeting, our Dream Come True program, and more.
With the Multnomah Village branch grand opening complete, we set eyes on our Westmoreland branch opening this spring.
Thank you to all of the members who attended the grand opening of our Multnomah Village branch! It sure seemed like everyone had a blast. The branch was packed all night, the food and drink were completely enjoyed by night’s end, and the branch stayed busy helping members throughout! I hope our prize winners enjoy their gift cards to many of the great businesses in Multnomah Village.
Now we turn our focus onto our new branch opening in Westmoreland later this spring! Stay tuned for more information about special rates and products, Westmoreland community initiatives, and of course our grand opening celebration featuring catered hors d’oeuvres and exciting prize giveaways.
The Unitus Annual Meeting
On March 20, our annual meeting brought together our leadership team, board of directors, audit committee, staff and a number of dedicated members. The meeting was a way to review the successes we achieved in the past year and look ahead to our goals for 2018. Most importantly, it was a great reminder of how grateful we are to serve our members and communities every day. As a final note, I’d like to extend a warm note of congratulations to board members Sue Iggulden and Tiffini Mueller who were confirmed by acclamation during the meeting.
Dream Come True meets OSU Basketball
Along with some Unitus members and staff, I had the privilege of attending the OSU Women’s Basketball game against USC on February 18. What made this game so special? Besides watching one of the best college basketball teams in the country in the Beavers, we also witnessed our Dream Come True program extend from Oregon State Football to Oregon State Basketball for the first time. It was heartwarming to see how generous the players were, spending time with the children, taking pictures, and giving kids an experience to remember. Our sincerest thanks go to both the Men’s and Women’s Basketball Teams for participating in the Dream Come True program, helping to give children memories they can cherish forever. Congratulations to the Women’s Basketball Team on making it all the way to the Elite Eight in this year’s NCAA tournament!
We hope to see you at the OSU Football spring game coming up on Saturday, April 28. Applications for the next season’s Dream Come True program will open this summer so be sure to check back in when the weather warms up! Learn more here.
Member Service Improvements
Throughout the year, keep an eye out for new savings products to help you keep more money, cybersecurity measures to give you more control over your credit card, debit card and mobile banking, and more member service enhancements. Thank you for choosing Unitus and I’d like to wish you and your loved ones the best of health, lots of joy, and a strong community full of positive support.
