Unitus Strengthens Member Security and Convenience with Apple Pay®, Text Alerts, and More

Great news! We now support tokenized payment solutions including Apple Pay®, Android Pay™, Samsung Pay and Microsoft Wallet! To begin, register your Unitus debit or credit card and link to your device. These new payment technologies offer enhanced security, convenience and customizability to help keep your information safe while making purchases easier than ever!
Last month, we launched our support for Visa Account Updater, which offers a seamless account update process and provides uninterrupted service from participating merchants. If you have a Unitus Visa debit or credit card that ever needs to be reissued due to expiration date or suspected fraudulent activity, this service will automatically update your account with participating merchants.
At the same time, we now offer members the option to receive interactive text message alerts for card fraud. You can opt-in to this service so that in place of or in addition to a telephone call from our fraud alert service provider you will also receive a text message to your registered device. This means faster confirmation of fraud on your Visa debit or credit card and more ways for us to connect with you in situations where you can’t rely on a home phone or are unable to answer your mobile phone in the moment. To enroll in fraud text alerts, call us at 800-452-0900, opt. 1 or visit a branch and speak with a Member Advocate.
Information security is an essential part of modern financial wellness. We are committed to providing more peace of mind for our members by anticipating member needs and continuously improving our members’ security. Please check back to stay updated on our progress with these exciting new enhancements.
